Following the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla at Ayodhya’s Ram temple on Jan 22, 2024, devotees have fervently contributed to the Shree Ram Janma Bhoomi Trust, offering 10 kilograms of gold, 25 kilograms of silver ornaments, and a substantial sum of Rs 25 crores in various forms including cash, cheques, and drafts in the first thrity days. This outpouring of support underscores the deep devotion and commitment of the devotees towards Prabhu Shri Ram.
To further facilitate and expand these contributions, it is proposed that the government establish a comprehensive mechanism for devotees to transfer their assets in diverse forms such as property, shares, and even cryptocurrencies like bitcoins. This initiative aims to enable devotees to bequeath their wealth in favor of Prabhu Shri Ram, ensuring a sustainable and impactful use of their resources.
The wealth donated, regardless of its form, will be utilized for development activities aligned with #VedicEconomics principles, emphasizing equitable distribution and sustainable development. This includes the development of places visited by Prabhu Ram and the creation of a Ramayan circuit across India, showcasing the rich cultural and spiritual heritage associated with the epic.
By encouraging asset contributions beyond traditional cash and kind donations, the Shree Ram Janma Bhoomi Trust can harness a broader spectrum of resources to drive meaningful development initiatives that benefit the community at large. This initiative not only honors the faith and devotion of the devotees but also sets a precedent for responsible and impactful philanthropy rooted in Dharmic Sanatan values.
